The Consulting Process

The consulting process is an ample and confidential two-way communication between an adviser/consultant and a client, with the intention to assist and guide the client in how to start, operate, or grow their business.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Registered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Belize.
  • Informally operating businesses not yet registered but active.
  • Pre-venture entrepreneurs with a viable business idea intending to operate in Belize.
  • Businesses contributing to Belize’s economy (tax payments, employment, exports, procurement).

Eligible clients may include both start-ups (less than three years old) and established businesses (over three years).

Annual Sales < $200,000
Total Assets < $200,000
Small Enterprise
Employees 10–49
Annual Sales $200,000–$6 million
Total Assets $200,000–$6 million
Medium Enterprise
Employees 50–300
Annual Sales $6 million–$30 million
Total Assets $6 million–$30 million
