Step by Step Guide to Becoming a Client
The consulting process is an ample and confidential two-way communication that is established between an adviser/consultant and a client with the intention to assist and guide the client in how to start, operate, or grow their business.
The eligibility criteria to receive services from SBDCs are:
- Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are registered and formally established in Belize.
- Informally operating businesses that are not yet registered but are active.
- Pre-venture entrepreneurs with a viable business idea intending to operate in Belize.
- Generally, businesses that contribute to Belize’s economy through tax payments, employment creation, export activity, or local procurement of raw materials.
Eligible clients may include both start-ups (operating for less than three years) and established businesses (operating for over three years). Overall, any micro, small, growing, or exporting business—formal or informal—may access SBDC services.
