MY BACKGROUND

I’m a Business Advisor and Certified Gender and Entrepreneurship Trainer with over ten years of experience supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Belize. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Belize and am certified by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Gender and Entrepreneurship, which enables me to integrate inclusive, gender-responsive approaches in all areas of my work.

My professional journey has taken me through the agricultural, banking, and business consultancy industries, giving me a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges that entrepreneurs face in diverse sectors. I’ve designed and facilitated a range of entrepreneurship training programs tailored to Belizean communities, always ensuring that the content is practical, engaging, and directly applicable to real-life business scenarios.

Currently, I serve as a Business Advisor for the northern region of Belize—supporting entrepreneurs and business owners in Orange Walk and Corozal. I work closely with clients to develop strategic plans, improve operational efficiency, and build sustainable business models that contribute to economic resilience.

I’ve also led several initiatives that promote sustainability and innovation, with a strong emphasis on long-term impact. Whether through one-on-one consultations or large-scale training sessions, my focus remains on empowering others to grow, adapt, and succeed.

My vision is to create a thriving ecosystem of resilient, inclusive, and forward-thinking entrepreneurs who can drive meaningful change within their communities and beyond. I believe that with the right tools, mentorship, and mindset, anyone can become a catalyst for economic transformation.
