Curriculum Development Officer, Belize Training and Employment Center (BTEC) Unit – Belize City
The Belize Training and Employment Center (BTEC), a unit of BELTRAIDE, is seeking a qualified and dynamic Curriculum Development Officer to lead the development, analysis, and quality assurance of our industry-driven training and workforce development programmes, ensuring they align with and respond to the evolving needs of Belizean industries.
Key responsibilities:
· Lead the collaborative design, development, and management of relevant, on-demand training programs by working with internal staff, TVETs, and client enterprises.
· Develop and implement an industry needs assessment system using stakeholder consultations and surveys, to track trends, analyze learning gaps, and shape responsive programs.
· Establish and enforce a strong quality assurance framework for all new and existing programmes, ensuring consistent delivery aligned with BTEC’s mission and full compliance with Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements, curriculum standards, and assessment/examination regulations.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development & Instruction, or any other research related field.
· Minimum of two (2) years working experience in business development preferably in curriculum development, training, education programmes, or workforce development.
· Second language is a requirement, preferably Spanish.
